Idaho as the catalyst for mom and family well-being.

Over the past few years, Idaho has experienced the greatest level of growth in the country. This is not just a proliferation of people.

Growth is like a tide that sweeps in, bringing with it new demographics, new ideas and worldviews, new cultures and ideologies. Communities in Idaho aren’t just getting bigger, they are changing. With a world so in flux, it is more critical than ever to reinforce shared community values.

Moms are one of those values.

We’re centering mothers as the solution.

Idahoans are nearly unanimous in their views of moms as an important source for families and communities. From homemaker to community-making, mothers are valued as the heart of it all.

It is crucial to reinvest in and support moms—acknowledging the invaluable impact they have on the wellbeing and cohesion of society as a whole. By honoring and empowering moms, we uphold the foundation upon which vibrant and thriving communities are built.

And it starts with understand how mothers are doing.

We are thrilled to partner with Gallup to release the pioneering report, Built With Care: Unifying Communities Through Motherhood. We surveyed more than 4,000 Idaho residents on the roles, experiences and needs of mothers in their communities. The research shows that while the vast majority of Idahoans view mothers as essential to families and communities, many mothers (38%) say they feel tired or burned out, and nearly half do not feel comfortable asking for more help or support.

74%

of mothers in Idaho support the idea that “being a mother is the most important part of who I am as a person.”

3 out of 4

mothers say they are unable to make time to take care of their emotional well-being.

81%

of mothers who wish they had more help or support in their daily lives do not feel comfortable asking for it.

What if all mothers had the support they need to be the best versions of themselves?

Our kids and families would live more days feeling good about being themselves.
